Micro-porous granules

Perlite is a naturally occurring volcanic rock that, when heated to high temperatures, produces lightweight micro-porous granules.

When mixed with compost, Perlite holds water and nutrients in the compost, producing a healthier growing media.

Vitax Perlite 10L:

Mix with soil when planting out to help hold water and nutrients close to the root system
Use alone for seed germination
Improves water and nutrient-holding capacity when mixed with compost

Primarily a compost additive, Perlite helps to stimulate root development and growth.
Before use, dampen Perlite to reduce dust. If using the whole bag, add about a liter of water and allow to soak.

We offer a local delivery service to Leeds & Bradford Postcodes, minimum order £20.
Orders are subject to availability as our stock is constantly getting updated.

When ordering during checkout please put an applicable postcode to enable local delivery. It is possible to arrange delivery to a postcode not listed for a charge, please contact us for more info.

Delivery is at a scaled rate to the UK and Northern Ireland.

Delivery should take 2 working days and a maximum of 30 days.
Please allow 2 to 5 working days from the order date until delivery.
Missing or delayed items please wait 20 days before reporting.
